Research Assistant (Sep 17 - May 18)

 Explored works related in the domain of controllable generation of texts and text-summarization based on deep generative models. I also worked towards developing one-shot learning models and semi-supervised deep models for the task of Named Entity Recognition in restricted domains.

Research Assistant (Jun 17 - Aug 17)

Worked in the area of computer vision on a project involving instance and semantic segmentation from videos with direct applications in autonomous driving and video semantic understanding. Tackled the problem of optical flow estimation using unsupervised deep learning.

Statistical Signal Processing Lab, Indian Institute of Science

Research Intern, Bangalore (May 16 - July 16)

Worked in the area of cognitive sciences based on statistical analysis of functional MRI (fMRI) data. Worked on the preprocessing of fMRI data and modeling of the visual cortex to understand the encoding of information in the brain.

I have graduated with an undergraduate degree (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communications Engineering. Apart from regular ECE courses such as Signal Processing, Information Theory, Digital Logic and VLSI, I have studied Computer Architecture, Networks, Algorithms, Neural Networks, and Image Processing. I have also completed several courses in Economics, Physics, and Mathematics.
